After the past year, I'd almost forgotten how nice it is to come home and just 'be'.
The boyfriend is a mere twenty minutes away and the Steve Austin clan are all under one roof once more. The phrase 'there's no place like home' has never been more aptly used.
I've indulged myself in barbecues, garden parties, and easy lunches that have been sharply followed with impromptu dinners galore. Not only that but there's also frequented myself with country walks in the sunshine matched with the occasional stroll along the beach in the rain. Something which I both treasure and inexcusably take for granted.
It was only yesterday whilst taking the dogs for a walk around Hatchet Pond that it occurred to me, 'Not everyone has these beautiful sights to wake up to...'
These beauties aren't the only beasties that you'll find whilst driving along the country roads. You'll also be faced with Ponies, donkeys, cows, sheep, pheasants, chickens, dogs
- Oh and theres also a lovely pack of Alpacas that have just moved in down the road.
A message to all you 'townies'.
You are really missing out.
